Our client is looking for a Residential Construction Project Manager in the Austin, TX area. Must have experience working on projects for high-end/luxury residential construction. Relocation will not be offered for this role, so you must be within driving distance of the Austin Metroplex.The Project Manager will provide excellent quality of installation and customer experience while meeting industry standards and completing assigned projects on time and under budget. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects and resources necessary to install and service products on multiple customer projects. The Project Manager will need to communicate with the lead technicians, trim technicians, programmers and the scheduler. Organizing supplies and job documentation will be among daily duties.Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct hand off meetings with Sales team to ensure customers' expectations will be met.Coordinate with job superintendent to establish job site regulations and communicate AV needs from other trades are met.Communicate all billable change orders to sales and engineeringReview sales order, product list and scope of work prior to any resources being allocatedCoordinate with Scheduling Coordinator to deploy resources to complete projects.Coordinate with buyer to ensure timely arrival of materials requiredMeet with subcontractors to ensure they understand their role in the projectResponsible for all aspects of onsite installation of AV systemsAdherence to project timeline and expectationsSet up, configure and program networks, control systems, cameras and NVRsReview & react to daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management softwareAccurate time clock entries and job costingMake decisions and be held accountable to Time and MaterialsClient training and transition to service departmentConduct quality checks and enforce company standardsOn call rotation maybe requiredLocal travel to job sites as neededProvide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information as requiredFiscal responsibility for all assets & property assignedCustomer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customersGuardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home securityAdherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic lawsQualifications:Bachelor's degree or relative work experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project ManagerThe Project Manager must have previous project management experience or relative examples of large project completionMust pursue continuing education on systems including audio, video, security, lightingMust be able to read house plans other job site related documentationAdvanced communications skills in both written and verbal disciplinesBasic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standardsTrouble shooting skills are essentialBasic computer skills with the ability to become competent with in-house job management softwareAttention to detail, particularly regarding key component placement & system wiringAdditional Requirements:Flexibility to meet customer demands outside of normal working hoursValid driver's license, clean driving record, and criminal backgroundSecurity license preferredPhysical Requirements:May require standing or stooping for extended periodsAbility to work in tight spaces & at ladder heightAdditional InformationOur client offers competitive salaries, bonuses, medical/dental/vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, PTO and holiday pay.A job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
