THIS ROLE IS IN Fremont, Ohio RELOCATION IS REQUIRED.We are in search of a Credit and Collections Manager (Onsite/Hybrid months following) to join our manufacturing client. Based in Fremont, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing the credit and collections processes. The position involves managing and improving accounts receivable assets, credit risk analysis, and collection practices, as well as developing and implementing optimal procedures and internal control systems to enhance performance and customer service.Responsibilities:Manage the daily Credit and Collections Team.Evaluate credit worthiness for new and existing customers - looking at reports, financial statementsWorking on some bankruptcy files and owning 10,000+ invoices and 30M$/M in volume, 10-15% past due collections.Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities.Maintain a system of daily, weekly, and monthly activity reporting (including aging statistics) to monitor performance and evaluate results.Support financial planning by designing and implementing strategiesFollow-up on customer accounts to improve receivablesEnsure all entries/transactions are posted for smooth closing during the month and at month-end.Responsible for appropriate staff selection, ensuring continuous performance evaluation, and professional development of assigned staff.Ability to plan, establish, manage, and modify collection policies, procedures, and standards.Management responsibilities include work planning, delegation of assignments, motivation, and mentoring to foster a cooperative and collaborative work environment.state sales tax processingRequirements:Degree in Accounting or Finance7 + years of C&C experience3 + years in managementExtensive credit management experience - any work in manufacturing, building materials, wholesale, distribution to large enterprise and SMB is idealHas experience with deposits,, retainers OR AIAProficient with business technologies including general business tools such as Microsoft Office applications and Excel are required. Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications. Knowledge of software to quantify and illustrate financial reports, comparisons, impacts, and/or projections. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and proceduresKnowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and standards in area of expertise.Knowledge of accounts receivable principles, procedures, standards, and documentationCompensation:-->> Salary: 130-145K + Benefits
