AT A GLANCEBroad River Retail is currently seeking a Home Furnishing Associate (HFA) to join our Retail team. The HFA is responsible for selling complete furniture solutions and sleep systems to our customers. The HFA is devoted to helping individuals and families create fresh and new designs in their homes: not just selecting furniture but helping them customize their living space as well as fitting them with the perfect sleep system to meet their needs.A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKERGreeting guests upon arriving in our retail showroom, learning their motivation for their visit, and developing a lasting customer relationshipPresenting and discussing various home furnishing product options, based upon your discovery of your prospective guests including lifestyle, needs, and goals during the sales consultationUtilizing the successfully proven company sales process and upselling techniquesProspecting potential sales, special events, and financing optionsAssisting customers in financing, purchasing, delivery, and ultimate satisfactionIncreasing personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions through continuous professional training and developmentDynamic on-site job training programs Sales culture allows autonomy and entrepreneurial structureWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDHigh energy 'people person' attitude, relentless in pleasing the customerProfessional, driven, positive, resilient, and achievement-focused personalityEntrepreneurial outlook, self-directed, and team orientedCoachable, goal oriented and performance-driven individuals who are always willing to learnExperience in 'high customer expectation' positions, such as sales, hospitality, and various retail environmentsDetailed individuals with strong follow up and follow throughExcellent time-managementStrong interpersonal and communication skills: a great listenerEnjoys a fast-paced retail sales environment with the ability to work a flexible 40-hour work week including nights, weekends, and holidaysBasic computer knowledge is requiredHigh school diploma is requiredComputer skills/technology skillsCompetent in the use of iPads and tabletsExceptional communication skills both verbal and writtenMathematical skillsAbility to perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of managementWORKPLACE ENVIRONMENTThis role is primarily performed on the salesfloor.
