Fuel Talent is partnering with a growing entrepreneurial start-up in their search for a Senior Associate to join their team of entrepreneurs. This dynamic start up spans Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Strategy, Joint Ventures, hospitality, and real estate industries.This is a Hybrid role, working onsite in Bellevue, WA as needed. Travel may be required from time to time, but will be limited. This is a rare opportunity to join a team of problem solvers with growth mindsets and where you will be able to make an impact long-term.Capabilities Management / Thought Leadership:Display a comprehensive understanding of business areas, operating platform(s), business strategy, vision, and priorities by identifying gaps, driving change, and influencing project-related decisions to achieve project goals and delivery of desired results across the collective ecosystem.Drive a continuous improvement mindset through the collective ecosystemOperational Excellence:Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes and strategiesParticipate in the strategic planning and growth initiatives for the start upImplement and manage shared services delivery model for ecosystem partners; serve as liaison with offshore team to manage work and supportEngage with ecosystem partners to support active deals including financial analysis and underwritingInvestment Analysis and Data Management:Conduct thorough research and financial analysis for new and existing investmentsPrepare detailed investment presentations for Principals to review to support decision makingRefine, enhance and manage database for hotel investmentsMonitor and report on existing portfolio performance, recommending actions as needed including creating investment review process with benchmarks monthly / quarterlyAssist with growth initiatives to include acquisitions and partnership identification strategiesIdentify, research, and develop new opportunities/business venturesRecap of major developments and tracking in capital markets - inflation, interest rates, hospitality related data on recovery, etc.Program/Project Management:Oversee SMEs in defining scope, planning, budgeting and managing project tasks, resources and deliverablesAssist in the development of business cases and budgets, including revenue analysisFull contributor to leadership discussions and topics, participating in most relevant meetings and offering synthesized business perspectives relevant to influencing key strategic decisionsExecutive presentations and communications: lead the preparation and production of executive presentations, including reviews, all-hands meetings, etc.Drive internal communications strategy including intranet, website, newsletters and videosRisk Management & Analysis:Ensure all potential project risks (Data Management, Systems Risk, etc.) are identified and all impacted stakeholders engagedLead post-project reviews and oversee documentation of lessons learnedRequirements:Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.At least 3+ years of related experience as an analyst/associate within a management consultant firm, fast-paced and dynamic UHNW family office or tech-related entrepreneurial environment.Project management experience.Hyper-organized with the ability to solve complex business issues and schedule conflicts.Strong communication skills across leadership teams, internally and externally.Sense of humor and ability to work while having fun in an ambiguous environment.Ability to be proactive and flexible as schedules and priorities shift.Ability to understand P&L, expense reports and budgeting.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Proficiency utilizing enabling technologies (i.e., Airtable, Slack, ClickUp, and more).Prior experience successfully problem solving for Principals / C-Level executives.Benefits Offered: Medical/Vision/DentalGenerous PTO and Paid Holidays
