Paralegal

PBG is working with a boutique energy law firm on their need for an experienced paralegal. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience as a paralegal with experience reviewing filings and summarizing agency actions. Experience with administrative enforcement proceedings is preferred. FERC oil and gas experience helpful, but not required.The ideal paralegal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in a law office and be an energetic, team-player who is ambitious and willing to learn, grow, and take on more advanced responsibilities over time. The firm is looking for a smart, detail oriented, IT savvy, professional who can juggle many tasks. Responsibilities will include:Review, analyze, and summarize agency filings and actions with care and precision in short time frames.Organization and maintenance of pleadings and administrative records in multiple forums.Telephone calls to clients, government offices, and other organizations.Interface with administrative officials to resolve client issues; draft letters and other communications.Review and draft responses to communications for client and partner review.Basic legal research and proficiency in cite-checking.The firm will consider potential part-time arrangements for at least 20 hours a week.
