Land SurveyorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to oversee and conduct land surveys for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying techniques and the ability to utilize AutoCAD for drafting and mapping.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct land surveys using appropriate techniques and equipment.Prepare and maintain accurate survey documentation and reports.Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed survey maps and plans.Collaborate with civil engineers and other professionals on project requirements.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding land use and surveying.Perform boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys as needed.Assist in the preparation of easements and permits for development projects.QualificationsAssociates Degree Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.3+ years of experience in land surveying and the use of AutoCAD/MicroStation.Knowledge of Right Of Way, Boundary, and Topographic surveys is preferred.Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) certification is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive Salary $30-35/hour based on experience Vacation/PTO - 17 days PTO, 9 paid holidaysMedical - Company pays at least 85% of insurance premiumDental - Company pays at least 85% of insurance premiumVision - Company pays at least 85% of insurance premium401k - Company match 50% up to 6% of contribution, fully vested following 4 years of employmentBonus - DiscretionaryHybrid or Flex schedules available - Following an initial period of 3 months, a hybrid work schedule is available. 3days office | 2days remoteTuition Reimbursement - $2000 for undergraduate and $3000 for graduate programs per year.
