We believe that by focusing on this disease, we can make the most meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.Key Responsibilities:As the Practice Manager, you will have a pivotal role in the overall success of our practice. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Office Operations Management: Oversee and streamline the daily operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment for both patients and staff.Growth and Patient Volume: Drive practice growth by working to increase patient visit volume through effective scheduling, patient outreach, and referral management. You will also drive growth by leading expansion of our Weight Management program and other key ancillaries.Meeting Key Metrics: Take responsibility for achieving key practice metrics, including patient satisfaction, appointment scheduling efficiency, and operational performance goals.Staff Supervision and Training: Lead, train, and supervise the front desk and administrative staff, ensuring they follow established workflows and deliver exceptional customer service.Hiring, Onboarding, and Training: Manage the recruitment process for new staff and providers. Oversee the hiring process, including conducting interviews, onboarding, and providing comprehensive training to ensure all new team members are prepared and aligned with practice goals.Patient Interaction: Manage patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, and ensure a positive experience for each patient.Billing and Insurance Coordination: Support the billing team in processing insurance claims and verifying patient insurance. Additionally, you will handle patient billing inquiries, resolve billing issues, and work directly with patients to ensure timely and accurate payments.Inventory and Supplies Management: Keep track of office supplies and medical inventory, ensuring the practice is always stocked and prepared.Compliance: Ensure the practice adheres to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety at all times.Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Address patient and staff concerns or complaints with a solution-oriented approach.Office Maintenance: Ensure the office is always clean, organized, and well-maintained.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is a plus.A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an office management role is required.Proven experience in increasing patient volume through various strategies, including building strong referral networks and cultivating key relationships is required.Previous experience building and implementing services or programs within a medical practice, contributing to practice growth and enhanced patient care is required.Proven experience hiring, onboarding, and training medical staff and providers.Strong command of medical billing and insurance processes. Comfortable dealing with billing inquiries.Strong proficiency in EHR systems (preferably Athena). Proficient in generating reports from the EHR and analyzing the data.Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
