Engineer I Civil DesignPosition OverviewThe Engineer I Civil Design will assist in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects, focusing on site design and development. The primary objective of this role is to support the design team in creating innovative and efficient civil engineering solutions that meet client needs and comply with regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and development of civil engineering projectsPrepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using Microstation and AutoCADConduct site assessments and field investigations to gather data for design purposesCollaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet safety and quality standardsParticipate in the preparation of construction documents and project reportsSupport project management activities, including scheduling and budgetingHelp analyze earthwork and drainage designs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulationsContribute to the design of utilities, roadways, and site layouts while understanding zoning requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field1+ years experienceEngineer in Training (EIT) certificationFamiliarity with civil engineering principles and practicesProficiency in Microstation and AutoCADStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of site design and construction documents is a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary of $65-75K based on experienceVacation/PTO - 17 days PTO, 9 paid holidaysMedical - Company pays at least 85% of insurance premiumDental - Company pays at least 85% of insurance premiumVision - Company pays at least 85% of insurance premium401k - Company match 50% up to 6% of contribution, fully vested following 4 years of employmentBonus - DiscretionaryHybrid or Flex schedules available - Following an initial period of 3 months, a hybrid work schedule is available. 3days office | 2days remoteTuition Reimbursement - $2000 for undergraduate and $3000 for graduate programs per year.
