As part of our Brand Team within the Marketing Department, the Creative Lead will be responsible for overseeing all graphic design initiatives, managing and delegating design work with one direct report, as well as conceptualizing and executing high quality design on internal and external projects. This role requires the ability to think creatively and strategically, work cross-functionally on multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with executives to conceptualize and bring clarity to projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Our graphic design function works on a variety of print, digital, and environmental projects across our two brands - Actalent and Aston Carter. These include sales collateral, social media and web graphics, digital ads, PowerPoint presentations, office branding and styling, email newsletters, event branding, and more. The Creative Lead will play an integral role in building our brands in the marketplace and around the globe by extending our look and feel in new and exciting ways that are also true to our brands' DNA.Essential Functions:Oversees the graphic design function; manages as well as executes high quality design for creative projects (print, digital, and environmental) for a wide variety of internal and external clientsPossesses authority in design decision-makingProactively seeks clarification on evolving requests with clarifying questions, critical thinking, and adaptabilityProvides quality review, control and feedback to team to push creative concepts and execution to next levelCreates design processes to support team goalsHas the acumen and confidence to work directly with executive leadership; knows how/when to effectively push back and/or keep the process moving smoothlyCapable of leading long-term design work with high-visibility and complexityEffectively partners with Brand Manager to build and achieve team goals and budgetsExpert at maximizing performance of team members - owning design process, work prioritization and allocationTechnically skilled in all design competencies and regularly studies the marketplace for best practices that can be applied on the team; innovates the latest in branding and visual solutions for the companyMinimum Education/Abilities/Skills:Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, interactive design or related field7+ years of experience in graphic design in a professional environmentExperience supervising and managing the work of other graphic designersA strong design portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual style and conceptual skillsExpert knowledge in graphic production processProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud with expert knowledge in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AcrobatMAC and PC proficientExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAble to motivate a team to work well within tight deadlinesStrong ability to prioritize work and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholdersSkilled at working with executives and thinking critically about requests to determine the appropriate design solution; adept at asking clarifying questionsVery strong project management, design, writing, creative, presentation, consulting, and networking skillsExperience designing professional PowerPoint presentationsDirect Supervisory or Management Responsibilities:Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
