Position SummaryThe Legal Recruiting Coordinator will support the Manger, Legal Recruiting with aspects of attorney recruiting and hiring and onboarding, including on-campus/law student recruitment and the summer associate program.Essentials Duties and ResponsibilitiesTypical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Liaise with law schools on aspects of student recruitment, including registration for on-campus interviews and job fairsCoordinate recruitment events, and also attend and track specific recruitment eventsSchedule applicants for callback interviews, and track school-specific offersAssist in planning the summer associate program, including planning and attending specific summer eventsPrepare and track summer associate evaluationsPrepare law school surveys and feedback formsAssist with law school presentations and programsGreet applicants upon arrival, provide office tours and escort applicants to interviewsAdditional projects as assigned by the department Chief and ManagersAttend NALP and BALRA sponsored programsAssist with local office Affinity group events and collaborate with the firm's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion department Qualifications / Position RequirementsSelf-motivated, proactive, positive, team playerPunctual, reliable, and flexible to work long hours as neededExcellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact collaboratively and effectively with attorneys and staffExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills, and a meticulous attention to detail including the ability to proofread for typographical, spelling, grammatical, and formatting errorsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a time-sensitive environment while maintaining the highest standards of work qualityGood judgment and professional maturity including the ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretionProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications as neededTravel for recruiting events as neededExperience with viDesktop is a plusEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree required2 - 4 years' recruiting experience in a law firm environment, or equivalent education and work experience preferredCompensationThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
