School Psychologist

A reputable family services organization specializing in the development and education of children with developmental disabilities is currently seeking School Psychologists for their locations in the Bronx. You would be tasked with providing individual therapy to students with behavioral, social and emotional delays, as well as ongoing parent consultation on an as needed basis. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer.Responsibilities:Offers individual play therapy to students with behavioral, social, and emotional delays.Provides ongoing parent consultation as needed.Consults with teachers, teaching assistants, parents, related services staff, and administrators on social, behavioral, emotional, and developmental issues, offering feedback on interpersonal dynamics when appropriate.Designs and implements group behavior management plans for all classrooms, with individual behavior management plans developed for severe casesParticipates in departmental, supervisory, and school meetings.Qualifications:2-5 years of prior experience working with pre-school aged studentsMasters Degree in School PsychologyNYS School Psychology CertificationNYS Psychology License
