Production Line Supervisor - 1st Shift

About Hyperframe: Hyperframe manufactures commercial wall framing materials that snap together on the job site, enabling ultra-fast wall construction in commercial buildings. Parts are manufactured using industrial metalworking equipment at our factory in San Leandro, CA. We are seeking a line supervisor for our production line.Shift Hours:4 on, 4 off schedule1st Shift Supervisor Hours: 6 am-5:30 pm (when requested, mandatory OT til 6 pm)What we're looking for:Must have at least 3 years of manufacturing experience and 2 years in a supervisor rolePrevious experience at a steel fabrication facility is preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow standard operating proceduresAbility to stand for extended periods and to carry 50lbs without assistanceForklift certification requiredAbility to work weekends and with advance notice mandatory overtimeEssential Duties & Responsibilities: This job's essential duties and responsibilities are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.Manage a team of 5-10 production line operatorsImplement production schedules and monitor production progress to reach daily production goalsRetrieve production materials, counts, and weights from inventory before productionEnsure that the assembly line stations are operating according to standard operating proceduresAssist with arising production line questions or issuesPrepare and submit regular production reports to management & handoffs.Monitor product quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure QA/QC compliance.Retain awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error-free and damage-free resultsCorrect at-risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediatelyFoster a positive and collaborative work environmentCommunicate quickly and effectively if there are questions or concerns Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proceduresEnforce the usage of all required safety gear and equipmentComply with plant rules and policiesOther duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
