We provide global support and looking for someone who is a quick learner with strong mathematical skills!Responsibilities:Dispatch shipments to ensure on-time delivery, while maintaining cost targetsCommunicate and update clients through phone email correspondence while developing lasting relationshipsSchedule pick-ups and deliveries, optimizing cost and timeAdjust price quotes according to cost and locationOrder entry as needed for product transfers or customer ordersManage domestic and international freight shipmentsPrepare export documentsApprove freight invoicesMaintain a high standard of ethics and integrityGain a sufficient understanding of the industry and customersPositively impact customer servicePerform data entryPerform metric analysisManage large amounts of incoming data / emails / information while staying organized and prioritizing tasksQualifications:Four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering or related field prefferedExperience and interest in transportation/ logistics preferredPrevious experience working with logistics or dispatch preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem solving skillsStrong organization SkillsTech-savvy, knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPointBasic knowledge in Excel ability to filter, sort, basic math formulasDemonstrate a strong sense of teamworkHigh degree of attention to detailExperience in shipping, logistics, or interacting with international teams would be a bonusUnderstanding of what a vendor is, and what a client is, and how they relate to a business.Understanding of how to interact with clients and provide customs serviceAbility to work with vendors to obtain pricing and ensuring service levels are metBasic knowledge of how a sustainable business operates (understanding the difference between, and importance of, costs & revenues)We OfferMedical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Holidays, 2 weeks vacation, Profit Sharing PlanShift Schedule:Training: 9 AM - 5 PM (1-2 months)Following Training: 5 AM - 1 PM
