What these companies have in common is that they ALL are looking to Hire "Uncommonly Good" Founding, Mid, Senior, Lead, Staff & Principal Software Devs ... and of course, the Leaders of these Software Development Teams.A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC CLIENTThis client is pre-revenue and pre-funding, but they are very close on both. With your help, both elements have a strong chance to catapult exponentially in the coming months. The person hired will be very hands-on, building the product MVP, but will also have a seat at the founders table in customer & VC conversations and true engineering decision making.This company is in stealth mode, but I can share that they have identified a clear problem in the Import / Export (Freight) space with customers eager to put down money. More specifically, the co-founder is already deep deep into talks with 5 different Fortune 500 / Billion dollar enterprise customers, all experiencing deep and growing problems with trade compliance including ever changing-ever ever-expanding difficulties in regulation, fees, fines, and auditing. These problems are increasing every quarter, with each client claiming many many millions of dollars lost, not to mention administrative nightmares that are getting harder and harder to handle manually.Your co-founder has verbal commitments from 5 customers (and more in queue), EACH ready to put down the credit card to the tune of 200K ARR based on the 1st wave of anticipated product functionality ... and with the 2nd wave of anticipated product functionality, there and with potential to grow to as much as 1M ARR per client as your product offering will naturally grow to take over some existing functionality within the domain as well. This is just the beginning as there is HUGE market, untapped here.A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUWith 5 (and counting) strong potential Fortune 500 customers in hand, and now being deeply engaged in high-dollar GTM customer conversations, your co-founder naturally took the next step and started conversations with many highly respected SF based VC's. There has been strong VC interest thus far, but one LAST thing has come up over and over as the clear hold-up. In order to get funding, the founder needs to identify his technical co-founder: YOU are the missing link to VC funding and ultimately to a strong product launch.REQUIREMENTSMy client is looking for folks who bring at least 4 of the following to the table:A head-turning resume for VC's (Top 10 engineering degree plus blue chip SaaS experience)Strong experience as a hands on builder for enterprises B2B customersProven 0-1 and 0-10 startup experience (i.e. 1st/co founder/ground up engineering)Experience with enterprise systems integrations (ERP's, brokers, etc)Bonus! Experience with Freight / Logistics / Import / ExportBonus! AI/ML implementationsLOCATIONOur client is based in SF and will be starting an office in the city. As a co-founder, you would help pick the office location and you would be be joining your co-founder in the office, quite often: 3-5 days a week.SALARY / EQUITYSince this will be a Co-Founder role, the salary target is low (we're looking ~200K range. They may consider up to 250K but not likely so as to keep the runway long while you ramp up. However, as you might expect, there will be exceptionally high equity being offered (somewhere between 10% and 20%). To be clear, there will be no offered salary until after the 1st round of funding, but numbers will be agreed too and contractual in a Founder / Co-Founder relationship.The next step after accepting this role would be to join in on existing conversations with VC's.
