We specialize in general commercial law and bankruptcy matters, offering innovative solutions for our diverse clientele.Position Summary:We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in general commercial litigation and Chapter 7/11 bankruptcy to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters.Key Responsibilities:Manage and litigate a variety of general commercial litigation and bankruptcy casesCollaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, legal research, and drafting of pleadings and motionsConduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court as neededEngage with clients to provide strategic advice and guidance on litigation and bankruptcy mattersAssist in developing and expanding the firm's client base through networking and business development initiatives (a plus)Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the New York State Bar is required; admission in New Jersey or Connecticut is a plus2-5 years of substantive experience in general commercial litigation and Chapter 7/11 bankruptcyStrong research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to work independently in a mostly remote setting while maintaining a collaborative approachDemonstrated ability to develop business is a strong advantageWhat We Offer:Flexibility to work remotely while staying connected with a dynamic teamOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEqual Opportunity Employer:R3M Law is an equal opportunity employer.
