As a member of the Ebco Sales Team, you will execute the sales strategy within an assigned region to drive revenue growth, in a position based in our Elgin, IL office. This role will require a good working knowledge of Rubber Molded and Extruded Products. We expect you to represent the company in all sales-oriented activities. This includes working with existing OEM customers on new product development and product improvement. In addition, the Sales Project Manager is responsible for increasing sales with our customer base at Ebco.The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our products.ResponsibilitiesManage projects through all phases of design, PPAP, Sampling, productionMonitor project timeline with engineering, new product implementation, and manufacturing teamsCreate and maintain presentation schedule per project timeline, effectively communicate schedule with customer and internal New Product Implementation team Responsible for design presentation and customer meeting Communicate details and specifications for new products with internal team Effectively manage sales pipeline for assigned customers utilizing SalesforceDevelop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of Ebco products and servicesDevelop relationships with key accounts and foster additional growth opportunitiesDevelop, qualify, and drive leads through the sales pipelineMaintain a high level of customer satisfactionCoordinate with key account managers, engineers, and various divisions at Ebco as requiredAssist in developing and implementing marketing plansApply basic engineering knowledge to aid in developing applicationPerform other related duties and responsibilities as assignedTravel to prospects and customers for this position is 30-50%Skills/QualificationsProven track record of driving sales growthStrong written and verbal communication, negotiating, and selling skillsAbility to provide uncompromised customer serviceExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficient in computer skills: Microsoft Office, CRMSalesforce experienceFamiliarity with basic engineering and manufacturing principlesPositive attitude and professional demeanorSelf-starter and self-motivatedTechnical skills, such a blueprint reading, preferredEducation/ExperienceBachelors degree in engineering or equivalent technical field2+ years of experience in industrial sales and/or customer service with OEMs2+ years of experience in the engineering/manufacturing industry, preferredExperience with technical business processes such as RFQ, PPAP, ECRKnowledge of JIT, logistics, and supply chain fundamentalsFundamental knowledge of rubber manufacturing, preferred
