Our experienced health and safety professionals help ensure compliance with regulations and create programs to prevent work-site injuries and accidents.Role Description:This is an onsite role for a NYC DOB Licensed Site Safety Manager (SSM) at Nova Safety Associates in Manhattan, NY. The Site Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing safety in compliance with NYC DOB Chapter 33, OSHA regulations, and all project specific health and safety requirements. SSM will be responsible for managing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections in the field, coordinating the completion of required safety paperwork by subcontractors, competing required safety logs, forms and checklists, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Qualifications and Experience: NYC DOB Site Safety Manager License (Current) S56 Construction Site Fire Safety Manager Certificate of Fitness (Current) 62 Hour Supervisor SST Card (Current) At least 5 years experience as a Licensed Site Safety Manager on projects in New York CityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized and proficient in the completion of safety paperworkIn depth knowledge of NYC DOB Chapter 33 and the NYC Fire CodeExperience in conducting safety inspections and checklists
