By manipulating and analyzing internal and external data, this person will identify discrepancies, research the root cause of the discrepancies, and work to correct the cause of the issue. This position will report directly to the collections manager and will be the primary back up for all billing needs when the manager is absent.Job ResponsibilitiesAssess current practices and procedures to create best in practice for the billing teamEstablish, monitor, and enforce current policies and proceduresWork with team members to provide effective supervision, including training, work allocation, and problem resolutionCollaborate with management to prepare and analyze weekly/monthly reportsEnsure strong team building and protocol in the department by holding weekly huddles, and bi-weekly training and department summarization meetings with the teamHelp the team with problem resolution on invoices that cannot be delivered into portalsWork closely with customer master data to ensure customer billing attributes are maintained in ERP Upload invoices into Customers Portals Creating invoices to be sent directly to a customerCreate workflow disputes and cases if neededRespond to emails from personal and the SSCC Billing email folderDelivery of invoices needing to be mailedLead Regional meetings with key stakeholders to review bottlenecks and root cause analysisBackup to the Billing Manager when neededJob RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred10 + years of related experience in B2B specific to manufacturingBilling Portal knowledgeableUnderstanding of full revenue cycle regarding order to cashKnowledge of construction industry preferableExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to communicate with all levels within the organizationAbility to maintain accuracy in a very detailed work environment, highly detail orientedProficient in PC skills, accounting software, Internet-based programs, MS Office Suite, especially ExcelWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
