Position:Physician/Medical Director - Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO)MUST Have: Certifications and Licensure RequirementsCurrent Medical License to practice in Maryland (preferred additional licensure in Washington, DC, and Virginia) - Must haveMedical Doctor (MD/DO) certification with DOT Certification for Drug & Alcohol Testing - Must have an active DOT certification OR Willing to Obtain before START.Must have a Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification - Must have OR Willing to Obtain before START.Location: Hyattsville, MD 20785Employment Type: Long-Term, Part-Time (11-20 hours per week, Day shift)Pay: $105/hour - $110/hourJob Summary:We are seeking a qualified Physician - Medical Review Officer (MRO) for a part-time role. In this position, you will conduct in-person medical evaluations and consultations, performing return-to-duty and fitness-for-duty assessments as needed. Your responsibilities will include evaluating medical records, conducting referrals as necessary, and ensuring that employees meet safety and fitness standards before returning to work.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct return-to-duty medical evaluations with comprehensive medical record reviews, referring employees as appropriate following prolonged absences, major illness, or surgery.Perform fitness-for-duty assessments at the request of supervisors when an employee's ability to perform essential job functions is in question or when safety risks are suspected.Collaborate with HR and supervisory staff to provide clear, medically sound evaluations and recommendations.Tryfacta is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer.
