VP of Development

The Vice President of Development will be based out of a Manhattan office and will report to the Chief Development & Marketing Officer.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESOversee grant writing, event fundraising, foundation relations, individual giving, in-kind giving, and volunteer engagement.Focus on donor cultivation while also managing brand partnerships.Supervise the Development team and ensure that team members are coached and developed.Provide oversight of the CRM system and ensures that the CRM is maintained and optimized to support the team's effectiveness.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree Required.Minimum of ten years in an institutional fundraising role, and experience with the New York fundraising landscape. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and strong attention to detail.Passion for company mission and core values.Strong experience successfully prospecting, engaging, cultivating, and closing gifts from foundations and corporations.
