The ideal candidate will have extensive experience drafting estate planning documents and handling trust and estate administration. This role is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are passionate about helping seniors and families navigate the complexities of estate planning and elder law.Key Responsibilities:Drafting comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directivesHandling trust and estate administration, including probate, trust funding, and distributionConducting client meetings, presenting estate planning strategies, and providing ongoing supportCollaborating with our legal team to ensure client matters are handled efficiently and accuratelyQualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive Bar membership in Michigan3+ years of experience in estate planning and trust/estate administrationStrong drafting skills and attention to detail in estate planningExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple client matters efficiently and effectivelyKnowledge of Medicaid planning and elder law is a plusBenefits:Competitive salary based on experience 401(k) with employer matchingPaid Time Off (PTO)Supportive, collaborative work environmentMedical Insurance, if needed
