Director, Workforce SolutionsA wonderful commercial and residential building services and management firm is seeking a Director, Workforce Solutions to join their team. This role is responsible for the P&L of the unit, the management of its staff, coordination of the company's response to any operational issues that arise, recruiting and screening of potential temporary employees, development of marketing and expansion plans, and serve as the primary relationship manager with residential clients. There will also be a direct report to manage in this position. Salary commensurate with experience$80-100k base range + discretionary bonus + great benefits + PTO Onsite Monday - Friday in Midtown, NYCHours: 9-5 pm, with flexibility to answer emails or calls after hours as needed Seeking:2-5+ years of experience relevant industry experience in management and/or human resources; residential buildings or related real estate management in sales and customer service is a plus Strong attention to detail and professionalism - this is a high-profile client facing role Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required Confident in using all common business computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to wear many hats and interface with staff, manage a direct report, sales, and client relations Responsibilities include:Recruitment, management, training, and development of Workforce Solutions staff. Accountable for sales growth targets, maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards. Client relationship manager to include regular site visits with pro-active approach of getting ahead of customers concerns. Respond to all clients' requests and emergency situations. Monitor sub-contractors, orders uniforms, supplies and equipment as needed. Responsible for managing recruitment and training processes of temporary field staff. Maintain accurate employee records, including but not limited to, employee hours, accurate payroll information, etc. Track employment periods of all temporary replacement workers to ensure they do not exceed a five-month employment period. Organize and monitor background checks for hired staff. Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure proper invoicing has been completed including credit memos, new/change customer forms, etc.Assist in the collection of payments from residential clients per contract specifications.
