Experienced BIM Modeler with a strong background in data center design, playing a crucial role in supporting the Data Center design team. Skilled in delivering high-quality BIM models and associated deliverables using Revit and other BIM applications. Focused on enhancing the efficiency of the BIM lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination of models with other design trades to maintain project alignment and accuracy.Primary Responsibilities• Develop 3D MEP Revit Design models and optimize designs• Develop and submit reports with documentation around project activity and model population• Create Revit families for projects. Incorporate new content into company standards.• Maintain project drawing files, details, and associated records• Identify and resolve clashes, conflicts, and discrepancies within BIM models to ensure simple coordination between various disciplines.• Participate in coordination meetings to address design conflicts and propose solutions, actively contributing to the resolution of design issues.• Review mark ups from Bluebeam sessions and ensure content is incorporated into designs. • Execute a quality assurance and quality control program to ensure work accuracy by team members.• This is not a complete listing of all duties and responsibilities that may be required during the execution of a project. Additional responsibilities will be required based on project scope requirements.Professional Requirements• Degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Architecture, (preferred) or Associates degree in Computerized Drafting or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.• Minium of 3 years of experience working in Revit and AutoCAD to produce design models.• A combination of education and relevant experience will be evaluated.• Advanced working knowledge of the most current modeling applications software, Revit, including being able to create Revit families, sheets, schedules and similar Revit functions.• Knowledge of 3D modeling and coordination tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, & Navisworks• Position located in Dallas, Texas. Could require up to 10% travel. This is a full-time position with hours dictated by business needs.
