MSI Express is a single-source contract manufacturing and packaging company, delivering innovative engineering solutions from our strategically located network of manufacturing facilities.ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARYThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing and leading strategic and tactical HR activities within their area. This position collaborates with their leadership team, operational leaders and several functional departments to ensure the human resources goals are being met. The HR Manager assists the organization by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic ActivitiesDevelop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategySupport current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of company personnelDevelop strong, trusting relationships with business leaders across MSI Express Inc. to foster collaboration and on-going sharing of best practices and resources, in order to gain mutual business advantageEffectively interact with MSI Express Inc. HR and other functions and ensure that local issues are taken into account when developing strategies and initiativesMaintain a strong understanding of current affairs, particularly the political and social agenda within own region and identify what impact this may have with own business areaTactical ActivitiesEmployee Relation and EngagementProvide guidance and recommendations to business managers on matters that may impact people within the organizationServe as an advocate and counsel to hourly and exempt associatesDevelop and drive initiatives/activities in support of site climate and cultureManage and conduct internal investigations as neededComplianceEffectively implement HR policies that comply with statutory regulations and are consistent with internal and external best practicesEnsure compliance with all required regulations, policies, and laws related to Human Resources activitiesGrowthEnsure management is trained in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassmentProvide feedback and coaching to managers, actively listen and ask searching clarifying questions in regards to associatesManage staffing, succession planning and associate programs and processesImplement/manage training and development activities and monitor effectivenessConduct trainings as necessaryProvide support to new sitesContinuityOversee the administration of compensation and benefits systems, processes, and employee communicationsCyclical ActivitiesOversee the administration of compliance with, and execution of, our performance management systemsOther duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITY PROFILEMinimum Education BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field or minimum of seven years HR experience requiredMaster's degree in Human resources or other related field desiredPHR/SPHR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification desiredMinimum Experience 5+ years of experience in HR with exposure to all major functional areas of HRPrevious experience partnering with senior managementProven experience of leading deployment of organizational changeMinimum Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Knowledge of HR systems and databasesExcellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal skillsCompetence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the companyIn-depth knowledge of Labor law and HR best practicesAbility to operate with a strong sense of urgencyBilingual English/Spanish highly preferredWorkday experience is highly preferedApply today and join our rapidly growing team!Inc. 5000 #1,085 fastest growing company in the USA.
