Technology Policy and Standards Manager

A leader in the healthcare space located in New York City is currently seeking a new Policy & Standards Manager to join their growing team.This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional work onsite in NYC 2 days/wkResponsibilities:Develop, review, and update IT policies and procedures to align with evolving business needs and industry standardsCreate clear and concise policy documentation that is easily understandable by all levels of the organization.Oversee the implementation of IT policies across the organization, ensuring consistent adherenceDevelop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT policies and proceduresManage the intake process for new or updated policiesTrack policies through various stages of creation, editing, and approvalIdentify potential IT risks and vulnerabilities and develop policies to mitigate themConduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of IT policies and proceduresTranslate complex technical concepts into clear and concise business terms.Perform other duties, as neededQualifications:10+ years of experience in Technology Policy Development & GovernanceBachelor's Degree Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001)Proficient in using policy management tools and software (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, or similar systems)Great interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:Master's DegreeExperience within a Healthcare setting
