Senior Electrical EngineerOrange CountyOur exciting Space client in Orange County is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in the design, development, and implementation of advanced camera systems.Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of video- camera, compute, and storage systems and related electronic components, including image sensors, image processors, high speed persistent memory devices, high speed digital busses, inter connectivity incl. physical layers, connectors, harnesses.Define video system's requirements and specifications.Perform detailed block diagram, circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout for subsystems.Troubleshoot and debug issues during development, and productionAssist Test Engineers to develop and execute test plans to verify imaging / storage system performance, image quality, and reliability.Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely and cost-effective production of video systems, while maintaining quality standards.Required Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, more advanced degrees are preferred.Demonstrable experience as hands on development engineer with a specialization in video or camera technologies, preferably in a senior or lead role.Fluency in concept design, circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).Experience with high-speed interfaces such as MIPI, SLVS, USB, Ethernet, and HDMI.Demonstrated ability to analyze and debug high speed, and complex electronic systems, utilizing tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.Solid understanding of embedded systems, firmware development, and software-hardware integration.Desirable Experience:Knowledge of video recording systems, digital camera systems, image sensors, and related components.Experience with design or testing for aerospace systems to military or spaceflight standards.If you are interested in this role then please apply now.
