Position Accountabilities Contribute to communications efforts for projects and announcements with planning, composition, and implementationDevelop reactive and proactive messaging and draft materials, including news releases, blog posts, social media, talking points, and others as neededManage and monitor Publications' brand-level social media presenceManage requests, analytics, and billing for organic social posts and paid social advertisingProvide support and guidance for other staff who manage social accounts for journals and other sub-brands of PublicationsAssist the Senior Communications Manager with other duties as requiredApplicant Requirements and PreferencesA bachelor's degree, with a preference for fields related to communications or scienceTwo years of experience in communications or a related functionClear thinker with an organized and detail-oriented approach to workSelf-motivated individual who proactively seeks solutionsPositive attitude that contributes to the culture of the immediate team and the wider team in the officeExcellent writer in medium form (e.g. blog posts, news releases) and short form (e.g. social media, captions)Experience managing social media for an organization and familiarity with management platforms like BrandwatchFamiliarity with at least rudimentary design through tools like CanvaFamiliarity with paid digital and social advertising on Meta and/or LinkedIn"Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: Employment Enterprises, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
