Role Overview: As an Options Platform Analyst at Citadel Securities, you have the opportunity to work with best-in-class processes and controls to enable the firm's trading strategies and manage the firm's financial and regulatory risks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities:Innovate, design, implement, and run analytics on the options market making businessEmploy technical expertise and domain knowledge to develop new insights into the systematic trading platform, driving enhanced revenue, efficiency, and resilienceConduct investigation into trade and position data with a strong focus on automation of reporting and anomaly detection from a granular to larger scale levelVisualize complex datasets that will inform both strategic business and tactical trading decisionsCollaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, and developers to share knowledge amongst each other and implement change Maintain and improve the platform's existing suite of tools and reports Reconciliation of heterogeneous data sourcesAd-hoc reporting for C-suite as requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree in STEM program from a top institutionIn-depth data analytic experience in Python (pandas/polars, plotly, etc.) and SQL; High Performance Computing, C++, KDB+/Q experience a plus but not requiredExperience working on data pipelines and automating manual processesStrong attention to detail and a desire to work on detail-oriented data tasksExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated self-starter, with the drive and can-do attitude to learn new things and push through challenges to deliver resultsExcellent problem-solving and strategic decision-making ability; able to keep the big picture in mind, making informed and defensible decisions in a fast-paced trading environmentPrior experience in electronic trading is a plus, eagerness to learn required
