This position is On-site and its a direct hire$80,000 a year salaryMonday- FridayMorning shiftBoca Raton- OnsiteJob Title: Buyer ( The hiring company will provide Training for this role) The ideal candidate is someone with an Engineering backgroundDuties and Responsibilities:The Buyer will be responsible for the procurement/sourcing of parts in order to fulfill incoming customer orders per specifications and drawings provided.The Buyer analyzes the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and the date the commodity is needed.The Buyer will research products, source vendors, and negotiate price, terms, and delivery of a wide variety of technical products including hardware, components, and systems for all types of army and ground forces equipment, including tanks, fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, artillery (self-propelled and towed), trucks, utility vehicles, engineering equipment, countermine equipment, bridging equipment, missile launchers, armaments, radars, electronics, and communications equipment.The Buyer will review drawings and ensure materials are purchased from drawing or customer-approved sources.Required/Preferred Education/TrainingMachining Background Ability to read and understand blueprint drawingsRequired/Preferred ExperienceAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprintsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Ability to handle multiple categories and systems (multi-task)Ability to work with others in a teaming environmentOrganized and maintain a system for keeping track of tasks and prioritiesAbility to build relationships and work effectively with other departments in the organization and external resources.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 per year
