HSSE ManagerLocationDenver, CO, USASalary$120,000 - $140,000 per annumContractFull-time, On-siteIndustryIndustrial Construction | CMS PhaseGlobal Engineering Talent () has been appointed to scale a key project team for a large-scale greenfield industrial manufacturing project in Denver, Colorado. The end client is entering the Construction Management Services (CMS) phase and is seeking an experienced HSSE Manager to lead site safety operations and ensure compliance at every level.About the RoleThe HSSE Manager will oversee all aspects of safety, health, security, and environmental compliance during the CMS phase of this complex industrial project. You will play a central role in creating and maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel onsite, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and best industry practices.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Program ImplementationDevelop and implement site-specific safety programs aligned with OSHA standards and project requirements.Site Inspections & AuditsConduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard analyses, identifying risks and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Incident ManagementLead investigations of safety incidents, root cause analyses, and recommend preventative measures for future risk mitigation.Safety Training & AwarenessDeliver ongoing safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.Regulatory ComplianceServe as the primary contact for OSHA inspections and ensure site-wide compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.Emergency PreparednessDevelop, test, and oversee the Emergency Response Plan (ERP), ensuring rapid and effective response to incidents.Safety ReportingTrack, analyze, and report safety metrics such as incident rates (TRIR/LTIFR), near misses, and safety audits to senior leadership.Promote Safety CultureFoster a proactive safety-first culture, encouraging hazard reporting and employee engagement.What We're Looking ForExperience10+ years in safety management on industrial or large-scale construction projects, with proven success in high-risk environments.EducationBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.CertificationsOSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (minimum).Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred.First Aid/CPR/AED certification.SkillsStrong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and training delivery skills.
