In addition, you will guide students in discussing literature and poetry, which provide beautiful examples of language that conveys the heart of the human experience.The Humane Letters courses are central to the academies' classical liberal arts curricula:Two-hour seminar style courses focusing on great works of literature, history, and philosophy from the Western Tradition.Strong and deliberate focus on primary sources.Socratic approach and seminar style discussions in the classrooms.Humane Letters I (focused on American studies with a strong history component - 9th grade)Requirements for teaching:Bachelor's or higher degree is required for a lead teaching roleCertification is not required for general educationAll majors are welcomeAZ and LA: Work Authorization - US work authorization is required, but we do accept OPT/CPT candidates.
