CDL-Licensed Field Service Technician

From $35+ per hour.RMPT is looking for a CDL-LicensedField Service Technician based out of our Brighton, CO location. This position will work with heavy-duty and off-highway equipment, including generators. You will perform scheduled and emergency installation, maintenance, and repair for a customer base spread throughout Colorado's Front Range.What You'll Do:Provide excellent customer service in the field and in the shop yard.Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up, and commissioning. Oversee correction of issues arising from commissioning.Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems including PLCs, AC/DC, and switch gears.Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on electric power generation equipment, including gas and diesel engines, generators, and transfer switches.Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.Participate in an On-Call rotation.What You'll Need:CDL license.Minimum 10 years of experience with construction equipment, powertrain components, hydraulic systems and components, or diesel and natural gas engines.Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability on construction equipment, axles, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulics, and diesel and natural gas engines.Experience work with diagnostic computers for trouble shooting repairs.Friendly, customer-focused attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Self-directed and resourceful mindset. Ability to work with limited supervision.Ability to provide own hand tools and appropriate storage.High school diploma or equivalent.The above list is non-exhaustive.
