Director of Credit and Collections

Position Summary:The Director of Credit and Collections will be responsible for leading the department. The position reports to the VP Controller and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the overall credit and collections process to reduce the delinquency rates and improve cash flow. This position works closely with sales and customer service team to resolve issues related to credit and collections.Essential Job Functions:Oversee the credit and collections activities of the organizationDevelop and implement strategies to improve the credit and collections processDesign and implement effective reportingWork closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve credit and collections issuesPrepare and present reports on credit and collections activities to senior managementLead and motivate a teamEnsure compliance with all relevant laws and regulationsIdentify and mitigate potential credit risksImplement technology solutions to improve the credit and collections processMonitor industry trends and best practices in credit and collectionsCollaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goalsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections management and leadership experienceProven track record of reducing delinquency rates and improving cash flowStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office ApplicationsAbility to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.Salary: $142,000-$185,000
