Senior Embedded Software EngineerLos AngelesOur exciting Space Client in Los Angeles are looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to Architect and write the Firmware and Software that runs on their first Spacecraft. You will help define how they Communicate with, Control, Update, and ultimately Troubleshoot the vehicle in-mission, and as such, comes with significant responsibility. Beyond the first mission, you will be able to scale your initial Architecture into their next vehicles that they intend to produce at scale.Responsibilities:Write and test flight-ready software that integrates C&DH, GNC algorithms, system telemetry, health and management, and fault management that runs on operating firmware that you also write or down-select.Support avionics subsystems testing Write mission management software and visualization toolsCreate SITL test fixturesImprove the functionality of GNC fault toleranceDesign their watch-dog systems Operate very autonomouslyIdeal Qualifications:Experience writing and shipping stand-alone, from scratch C/C++ code for Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Drones, Spacecraft, etcStrong understanding of electrical engineering and computer architectureExperience with software dev best practicesIf you are interested then please apply today!
