THE ROLE: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team at Troy Lee Designs. you will play a crucial role in driving the development and success of our product lines, focusing on delivering top-tier performance gear and helmets for mountain biking and motocross enthusiasts. This role requires a deep understanding of our target market, a passion for action sports, and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams in bringing innovative products to life. The goal is to build a line of technical apparel, helmets, protection and sportswear that meets business objectives (revenue, margin, profitability) while aligning with our brand.RESPONSIBILITIES:MARKET ANALYSIS & CONSUMER INSIGHTSIdentify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to drive product innovation and differentiationCreate and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectivesConduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviorsAnalyze industry trends and competitor products to inform product development and positioning strategiesUtilize customer feedback and insights to continuously improve products and address market demandsMonitor sell-in and sell-throughPRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INSIGHTSSupport development of a product strategy that aligns with Troy Lee Designs' brand values and market goalsBrief the collection from market analysis to optimize strengths, address weaknesses, and explore new opportunities while staying true to the brandWork with the design team to guide the product development process from concept through to launch, working closely with design, marketing, and sales teamsParticipate in design review and line finalization meetings, incorporating input from sales and marketingOversee the development of detailed product specifications, ensuring all products meet performance, quality, and cost objectivesCROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATIONAssist the marketing team with go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, promotional plans, keys stories, and sales meetings Work with the sales team to ensure product knowledge and support, enabling them to effectively sell and represent the TLD brandPERFORMANCE MONITORINGMonitor product performance post-launch, including sales, customer feedback, and market reception • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to product strategy as neededPrepare and present product performance reports to senior managementEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in product management, business administration or a related field5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the sports or outdoor industryATTRIBUTES & ABILITIESStrong understanding of mountain biking, motocross, and/or action sports gear markets preferredIs highly organized with strong attention to detailPracticed presentation skills for presenting to large groupsExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decisionsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsProven track record of successfully managing product lifecycles from concept to launchAbility to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 30%)Ability to commute and be in the office M-F (may work from home on Fridays after onboarding)Ability to work early or late hours and weekends as needed COMPANY BENEFITS Medical: HMO, PPO, HDHP/HSA, PPODental: HMO and PPO+VisionCo-paid Life/AD&D10 days of vacation (accrued)5 days of sick time 401K
