Vice President of Production

VP of Supply Chain and Production will lead and optimize the supply chain operations and production processes. This senior leader will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, from sourcing materials to ensuring timely delivery to customers, while driving cost efficiencies and maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with company goals, ensuring seamless operations that meet the demands of a fast-growing e-commerce business.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Strategy & ManagementDevelop and execute a robust supply chain strategy that supports growth in e-commerce while aligning with the company's brand and quality standardsOversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including inventory management, production scheduling, logistics, and distributionProduction OversightManage end-to-end production processes, ensuring that all apparel meets high-quality standards and adheres to delivery timelinesPartner with manufacturing and vendor partners to optimize lead times, reduce production costs, and ensure sustainability practicesSupplier & Vendor RelationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and production partners to ensure consistent quality, adherence to timelines, and cost-effectivenessNegotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to optimize margins and reduce operational costsVendor Capacity PlanningOversee partnerships with key vendors to ensure capacity aligns with projected demand and mitigate potential supply chain disruptionsConduct regular capacity assessments with vendors, adjusting forecasts based on capacity changes or supply chain developmentsNegotiate and establish contingency plans with suppliers to address any potential bottlenecks or capacity constraintsProcess Optimization & EfficiencyIdentify, implement, and oversee lean practices and operational improvements within supply chain and production to enhance efficiency and reduce costsUse data analytics to monitor forecast accuracy for capacity planningEstablish KPIs and regularly review vendor performance, implementing improvements where needed to optimize supply chain resilienceTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across supply chain, logistics, product development and productionFoster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the teamQuality Assurance & ComplianceEstablish and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet brand standards and regulatory complianceImplement sustainable practices across the supply chain in alignment with corporate responsibility initiativesCollaboration with Cross-Functional TeamCollaborate with planning, marketing, merchandising, finance, and customer service teams to align supply chain operations with business objectivesSupport product development by providing insight on supply chain capabilities, lead times, and cost implicationsQUALIFICATIONSExperience: 10+ years of supply chain, production, and operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the apparel or e-commerce industryEducation: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferredTechnical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems; strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindsetIndustry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the apparel production process, quality standards, and best practices for e-commerce fulfillmentLeadership: Proven track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teamsProblem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
