Legal Rankings & Awards Specialist

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Legal Rankings & Awards Specialist role to join the marketing team at a top DC law firm. The Specialist will write and edit a wide array of marketing materials to best position the firm, attorneys, and practice groups in industry publications and the news. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with marketing experience who is looking to continue to grow in a law firm setting.Responsibilities Include:Draft award nominations, editorial submissions, and news releasesCollaborate with marketing team on legal directory submissionsWrite, review and edit content for award nominationsKeep track of deadlines, nomination results, and update the team Research new opportunities for legal directory and legal awards Coordinate with a variety of legal publications specifically with awards and nominationsAssist with other media relations and communications projectsQualifications Include: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field3+ years of marketing or public relations experienceLaw firm experience strongly preferred Ability to communicate with attorneys, media, and other professionalsStrong writing and editing skillsProficiency in MS Office SuiteExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsCandidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.The Ford Agency is a recruiting firm based in Washington, DC.
