Associate Vice President (AVP) for Enrollment ManagementThe Associate Vice President (AVP) for Enrollment Management serves as Harford Community College's chief enrollment officer and reports directly to the Vice President for Student Success. As a key leader within the division, the AVP provides strategic vision, skilled planning, and expert project management to advance the College's enrollment initiatives. Core responsibilities include developing innovative programs, leading a dynamic team, managing budgets, analyzing data, and coordinating institution-wide strategies to enhance enrollment and improve the student experience.In this highly visible role, the AVP drives collegewide strategic enrollment planning and execution in alignment with Harford's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals. This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to address institutional performance gaps while fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).The AVP partners closely with the Associate Vice President for Student Development to create a seamless and enriching student experience by integrating programs and services across the division. Additionally, the AVP remains informed of best practices in higher education"”especially within community colleges"”to lead initiatives that prioritize innovation and continuous improvement.Residency RequirementEmployees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must reside in Maryland or contiguous states (Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia). Non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.Work AuthorizationApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The College does not provide Visa sponsorship for this position.Required EducationMaster's degreeRequired ExperienceAt least seven years of progressive leadership in a college setting, including demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive strategic enrollment management plans.Required Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesProven ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams.Proficiency in using data to drive strategies and decision-making.Deep understanding of best practices and trends in higher education enrollment management.Expertise in student recruitment, retention, and support services.Familiarity with enrollment management systems, data analysis tools, and related software.Strong skills in assessing program effectiveness and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, such as the Office of Communications, to create and implement impactful marketing strategies.
