The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with senior management, technical peers, administrative staff, and other stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of diverse engineering projects.Required skills:Installation, configuration and maintenance of VMware vSphere componentsInstallation and configuration of Microsoft and/or Linux operating systemsUnderstanding of networking concepts and technologiesUnderstanding of storage and backup products/technologiesDesired skills:Experience installing/configuring/maintaining Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)Active Directory and group policy configurationFamiliarity with scripting or other automation toolsExperience securing systems to achieve government security accreditationAbility to brief technical projects to stakeholders of varying backgrounds and levels of expertisePrior experience directing the work of a small technical team (~ 6 people)
