Founded in 2012, Brytemove serves clients including EVSPs, utilities, fleet owners, and OEMs. The company offers turnkey charging solutions, integrating solar, energy storage, and software applications through a robust network of partnerships.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Sr. Estimator at brytemove energy. The Sr. Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, collaborating with project teams, evaluating subcontractor bids, and ensuring cost-efficient solutions. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines. The Estimator is responsible for developing and completing estimates based on written and/or oral description from project managers. Must be able to estimate based on photos. QualificationsPlanning, Estimating, Cost Engineering Project Activities, Scheduling, and Project Management skillsUnderstanding of construction (civil & electrical) processes and electric vehicle infrastructureExperience with McCormick/Accubid software requiredKnowledge of electrical systems and charging station technologiesExperience with bidding processes and subcontractor negotiationsManagement of material vendor relationships, including packaging and presentation of RFQs, RFIs, and RFPsAbility to provide estimates based on photographs, videos and oral descriptionsPrepare RFQs and evaluate vendor pricingUnderstanding of electrical construction related to utility transmission through building distributionUnderstanding of power delivery, transformers, battery systemsUnderstanding of engineering scopes, including electrical, structural, civil, and permittingExperience with design/build and Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC)Train and develop skills of estimators and or Site AssessorsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesHigh School diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred7-10 years of estimating experience preferredProfessional certifications (e.g., CPE, CEP, PMP) are a plusWork EnvironmentThis role involves variable work environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. Employees must meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds, working at heights, and operating various tools and equipment safely.
