In this role, you will assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and patient-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and proper labelingPerform compounding services under the supervision of the pharmacistHelp with administering vaccinations, following pharmacy protocolsCommunicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary prescription clarificationsProvide excellent customer service, answering questions, and assisting patients with over-the-counter productsProcess patient insurance claims and resolve any issues related to prescription coverageMaintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulationsManage inventory, including ordering medications and supplies, and checking for expiration datesComply with all federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practiceQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or ability to obtain certification within 3 monthsPrior experience in a retail pharmacy setting (preferred but not required)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively and provide compassionate patient careProficiency in pharmacy software systems and insurance processingCompensation and Benefits:401(k) retirement plan after 1 year of serviceHealth, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holidaysCompetitive bonusesCompany holiday eventsOpportunities for career advancement and professional developmentHow to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and cover letter to LinkedIn Easy Apply.
