Sales Assistant

Sales/Merchandising Assistant - 5 days in officeWe are looking for an eager, organized, go-getter to join our rapidly growing Men's Active team. This person will be the liaison between sales, production and design and will be involved in all aspects of sales. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have strong communication skills. The ability to multi task and wear many hats is a must.Responsibilities:•Purchase order management- work with order entry team and logistics on logging, updating and tracking customer purchase orders, from receipt to completed shipments•Maintain open & shipped orders reports - updating buyers on delays, shortages etc.•Demonstrate initiative by reviewing reports and highlight findings, such as revisions, extensions, or cancellations•Understand each customer's requirements for specs, packaging, samples etc. & relay to appropriate teams•Maintain sample organization & tracking including development and sales samples.•Run weekly ATS reports & send out to buyers.•Must be able to multi-task assisting multiple accounts and working on projects simultaneously, while keeping track of all deliveries and deadlinesSkills & Qualifications:•Degree in Business, Fashion or any relevant major OR 1-2 years of experience in sales/ merchandising•Extreme attention to details, highly accurate & organized.•Willing to take initiative and exercise strong problem solving skills.•Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.•Ability to digest large amounts of information & present it in a clear, concise manner.•Excellent written and verbal communication skills- must interface with customers during showroom presentations and communicate daily through email follow-up•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and OutlookSalary based on experience.
