Because honestly, why should retail be boring?As a Floor Manager at Smartech, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of your assigned floor, ensuring smooth workflows and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will lead a team of supervisors and sales associates, fostering a positive and high-performing culture while driving sales to meet and exceed targets.Working closely with the Store Director, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining store standards, optimizing floor performance, and ensuring that every customer interaction is engaging and memorable.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Development: Mentor and guide the floor team to create a motivated, customer-centric culture. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training initiatives to ensure excellence in service and product knowledge.Sales and Customer Experience: Implement strategies to drive floor sales and deliver an engaging, personalized shopping experience. Build strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and repeat visits.Operational Efficiency: Manage floor operations, including inventory oversight, shift scheduling, and compliance with operational standards to ensure seamless workflows.Performance Monitoring: Analyze floor metrics, such as sales figures, customer satisfaction, and team performance, and implement action plans to address gaps and optimize outcomes.Requirements and Preferences:Experience: 3-5 years in retail management, preferably within a fast-paced or technology-driven environment.Leadership: Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve and exceed targets.Customer Focus: Strong ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment with changing priorities.Other Details: Job Title: Floor ManagerLocation: Time Square, New York CityMultiple positionsReports to: Store DirectorStart: MarchSalary: $65k-$80k/year + Commissions on SalesJob Hours: Full-Time
