CMG is a team of fresh thinkers, cultural strategists, corporate communications experts, and brand marketersRole Description:The Account Supervisor position understands how to deliver exceptional client service and understands how to lead and oversee multiple accounts.The Account Supervisor understand how to put together an Internal Account Team and creates a structure to lead successfully.The Account Supervisor leads specific media efforts focused on fostering impactful editorial relationships and generating significant media coverageThe Account Supervisor demonstrates the ability to successfully execute a full range of written materials, including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, and moreThe Account Supervisor oversees client projects (including events, launches, and media programs) from concept to execution"”managing budgets, timelines, status updates, reporting, and junior staff, as needed.The Account Supervisor brings industry contacts to the table, where appropriate.The Account Supervisor communicates new and significant ideas to keep our clients relevant in the industry, from press pitches to contributing strategic thinking for campaignsThe Account Supervisor serves as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects.Requirements:· Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college of university is required.· 5 -7 years experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishingExpected competencies include:· Strong relationships with the media and the ability to secure media placements· Proven track record of assigning and delegating work to junior staff· Demonstrates behaviors consistent with ColorComm's values, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.· The ability to be a reliable and trusted advisor· Effectively and consistently manages strengths and weaknesses of self· Takes feedback as a constructive learning opportunity and acts upon it· Commits to continuous learning and improvement of tactical skills by seeking other training, including on-the-job training and mentoring.Who You Are:· Must be able to work independently and as a team.· The ability to be proactive and anticipate client and team needs· Extremely ambitious and care about growing your career· Has a "can do" attitude· Exceptional communication skills.· Ability to multitask and achieve deadlines in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.· A change agent who is flexible, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-paced environment.What's In It for You?· 25 days Annual Leave· Early finish Fridays during Slow Periods· 401(k) Retirement Matching Plan· Health Insurance· Parental leaveSchedule:Monday - Friday9:00 am - 5:30pm in Midtown Manhattan Candidates must already live in NYC or the surrounding Metro AreaANNUAL SALARY - $80K-$90KFull Time Position salary range depends on experience level
