Staff Digital IC Designer

Location: Dublin, CAPosition Overview:Amber Semiconductor is seeking a talented and motivated Digital IC Designer to join our dynamic team.In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of digital integrated circuits for a variety of power applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards..Key Responsibilities:Design and implement digital circuits using RTL in languages such as VHDL or VerilogCollaborate with system architects to define design specifications and requirementsPerform design verification and validation to ensure functionality, performance, and reliabilityPerform functional and timing verification of RTL designs through simulations and test benches.Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure design integrity and manufacturabilityOptimize designs for power, performance, and area (PPA) metricsConduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peersStay current with industry trends and advancements in digital design methodologiesDevelop FPGA solutions for testing and verification of designsQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field8+ years of experience in RTL design including successful tape-out and product releaseExperienced in digital implementation flow such as Synthesis, Place and Rout, Clock Domain Crossing and STAExperience in integrated microprocessors including open source architecturesProficiency in RTL design languages (VHDL, Verilog) and experience with design tools (Cadence, Synopsys, or similar)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsJob Type: Full-timeSalary Range: $120,000-$170,000Offered Benefits: Medical, Dental, vision, 401K, & Equity
