Global law firm is seeking an HR Manager to join their team in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in high volume recruitment and human resources management duties at a supervisory level.Salary: $150-170K baseHybrid schedule, 3 days onsite, 2 remote.Hours: 8:30-5Responsibilities: Responsible for recruitment and onboarding, including design and execution of strategies to improve the hiring processProvide guidance to employees on policies and proceduresSupport HR leadership with employee relations, including check-ins, exit interviews and counseling as requiredSupervise the HR Assistant in a variety of tasks, including events, background check, processing of invoices and maintaining employee filesHelp develop and maintain annual HR calendarAssist with annual HR leadership planning and projectsDevelop employee learning programs and initiativesAddress employee inquiries concerning the HRIS, including managing plans and balances, and troubleshooting issuesSuggest HRIS system improvements as neededAssist with ongoing HR tasks and activities, including offboarding, payroll reports, tracking and any employee changesAssist with firmwide events and conferences as requiredRequirements:Bachelor's degree required6 + years of human resources and hands-on recruiting experience required, with a few years of managerial experienceExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented and ability to manage confidential information with discretionGood interpersonal and team management skillsetPrior experience out of legal industry or financial services preferredProficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
