Job Title: HR Administrator or GeneralistLocation: Montvale, NJ (General Area)Schedule: M-F, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)Salary: $60,000-$65,000 + Annual Bonus ProgramBenefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Health Savings Account, Employee Discount, Life Insurance, PTO, Vision Insurance - Starts first day of employment. Company pays 75% of premium.Overview: Rapidly growing Insurance Agency and insurance products for a wide range of professionals and industries is in search of a HR Admin/Generalist to perform a variety of human resources tasks. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a generalist or experience with other HR Admin related duties. Must display a hard work ethic, critical thinking and professional demeanor. Provide Human Resources support for 40-60 employees and growing.Responsibilities:Manage and administer the company offered 401k plan as well as the paid time off policy. Conduct orientation, updating a maintaining welcome presentation as well as personnel policy presentation. Create job postings and post all vacant positions to job boards. Gain product and department knowledge to place qualified candidates with required skill sets in vacant positions. Screen resumes all incoming applicants. Perform the first pre-screening of qualified candidates on the phone and schedule and execute the initial in person interview. Decide whether or not to pass the candidate on for a 2nd interview with hiring manager.Administer skills assessment tests to all candidates prior to offer. Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict free workplace.Assist in the current implementation and development of human resource policies.Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.Ensure compliance with labor regulations.Resolve employee conflicts promptly and accordingly should they arise.Undertake tasks around performance management.Requirements:• BS/BA in Business administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred. • Proven experience as an HR Generalist with direct recruiting experience. • 2-3 years of Human Resource experience to include generalist and recruiting experience. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.• Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
