Interconnection Engineer

? Role: Interconnection Engineer (Associate)?? Location: Philadelphia, PA?? Cleantech (Solar)?? $85K to $130K, plus a 15% to 20% BonusStorm4 is partnered with a growing solar and BESS developer that is in their growth phase and looking to build out their team. They have a strong backing from private equity investors and industry veterans leading the organization.They are building out their team and searching for a Interconnection Engineer to join their team to focus on designing, filing and managing interconnection applications.Responsibilities: Oversee daily management of active interconnection applications across multiple utility and service territories.Monitor and manage utility performance to meet tariff-related timeline commitments on a project-by-project basis.Facilitate the submission of interconnection applications in collaboration with internal and external engineering teams and project developers.Coordinate construction requisitions, approvals, signatures, and payments related to applications, impact studies, and interconnection agreements.Develop and maintain comprehensive records for each project throughout the interconnection process, from initial application to final authorization to operate.Requirements: 1 to 4 years of relevant experience across energy or construction sectors.A bachelor degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems, or an alternative engineering degree with a background in power systems.Experience with transmission or distributed planning software, and experience with GIS.Why Apply?Great Benefits (unlimited PTO)Career progressionMission driven company driving sustainabilityYou should apply if you are interested in growing along with a fast-paced, dynamic company and iterate when the path forward is undefined.??
