The firm is committed to high growth companies in the lower middle market that enhance efficiency, customer experience, and speed to market.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Operations & Marketing Associate at LAGO Asset Management. The role will focus on LAGO's fund operations and investor marketing/ reporting for the funds' debt & equity investments across multiple funds. Position works directly with Executive leadership and relevant team members. Work directly with and prepare financial analysis and reporting for executives across LAGO funds Performance measurement, including calculation of IRRs, investment multiples and various time-weighted returnsAssist in preparation of regular investor reports and quarterly investment lettersParticipate in internal projects that support fundraising needs and firmwide marketingSupport treasury and liquidity management functions (monitor cash position for funds and assist with forecasting cash requirements)Assist the Operations Manager by understanding/reviewing capacity on the funds' credit lines as well as borrowing base compliance/covenantsSupport the overall portfolio valuation processSupport the ops team with year-end audit and tax reporting information needsIdentify and implement process improvements with regards to efficiency /quality while ensuring that strong internal controls are maintainedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field1-3 years of relevant experienceLoan experience including working with credit funds and/or Business Development Companies (BDC) a plus.Eager to work hard in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment building an exceptional organization.Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm.Project Management capabilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skills
