This key role ensures fleet performance optimization, minimizes downtime, and boosts efficiency post-rental. The ideal candidate will lead, mentor, and hold a high-performing team accountable, all while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.What You'll Do:Lead and mentor the maintenance team, conducting regular performance reviews and ensuring adherence to company goals.Manage staffing levels, onboard/offboard employees, and oversee training and development initiatives.Promote a service-oriented culture, supporting training initiatives, celebrating team successes, and addressing customer complaints.Oversee external service provider relationships, ensuring timely, cost-effective service and parts procurement.Maintain fleet vehicles in optimal working condition, ensuring compliance with service schedules and maintenance plans.Control costs, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance fleet efficiency and reduce maintenance expenses.Review and approve maintenance expenses, including chargeback repairs, ensuring cost-effective operations.Prepare detailed reports on fleet performance and maintenance activities for senior management.Manage major repairs, fleet projects, and vehicle upgrades while minimizing operational disruptions.Communicate maintenance recommendations to senior leadership to align with service vision.What We're Looking For:Diploma in Business, Management, or related field preferred.Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience; 5+ years in fleet vehicle maintenance preferred.Experience in finance, insurance, leasing, or rentals is an asset.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and drive operational improvements.Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.Criminal security clearance and credit check required.Why work with us?You matter, we support you.
